I hand cut, hand shape and machine stitch leather into simple but elegant shapes using color and design elements to add a twist to each style. Early training in sewing and later studies in surface design come together to inspire me to manipulate purchased tanned and dyed leather by color blocking, applique, top stitching, beading, quilting, and filigree to create unique leather treatments. I use genuine reptile, mostly farmed, and other fine leathers. No endangered species are used.
